~ a new production from Grassroots Films

the Human ExperienceMost of us have now seen Fishers of Men and God in the Streets of New York – but there’s a new production from Grassroots Films that offers an intense and dramatic look at what it means to be human and what exactly human life is all about.

The Human Experience is a vivid and beautifully shot film that takes audiences around the world and tries to connect with some of the suffering and hopes of our current age. Its creators promise a head-on engagement with a dominant culture that has insulated itself from the richness of encountering the world as creation.

Screenings began back in Spring 2009 and are still being held all over the world – Regis U. in Denver hosted a screening in August and one is scheduled in London this November 13th and 14th.

SYNOPSIS

From Grassroots Films of Brooklyn, New York comes THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE – the story of a band of brothers who travel the world in search of the answers to the burning questions: Who am I? Who is Man? Why do we search for meaning? Their journey brings them into the middle of the lives of the homeless on the streets of New York City, the orphans and disabled children of Peru, and the abandoned lepers in the forests of Ghana, Africa. What the young men discover changes them forever. Through one on one interviews and real life encounters, the brothers are awakened to the beauty of the human person and the resilience of the human spirit.
