Solidarity with Southern Sudan trains teachers, nurses and pastoral personnel in several locations throughout Southern Sudan. This initiative was inspired by the 2004 Rome Congress on Consecrated Life, Passion for Christ Passion for Humanity.

From the 2nd to the 5th of December Father General has visited Egypt. He met the novitiate, the formatores to religious life and the Coptic-Catholic Patriarch, the teachers, the students and the alumni of the Holy Family College. Finally he participated at a Regional day of the Egyptian Jesuits.
It might take a little longer to load than we’d like, but this slide-show of Fr. General’s recent trip to Egypt is a good reminder (or a nice introduction) to the truly global nature of the Society …
