Visiting & Shoring up Lourdes

Since a Marian apparition there in the mid-19th century, Lourdes has taken on monumental significance for hundreds of millions of pilgrims from all over the world. That’s right, each year more than 6 million pilgrims travel to this destination in the south of France; half a million Americans alone make the journey. Solidarity with Southern Sudan

Solidarity with Southern Sudan trains teachers, nurses and pastoral personnel in several locations throughout Southern Sudan. This initiative was inspired by the 2004 Rome Congress on Consecrated Life, Passion for Christ Passion for Humanity.
This project, Solidarity with Southern Sudan (SSS or Solidarity) is an act of communion between religious institutes of men and women, which are members of the Unions of Superiors General (USG and UISG), and the Church in Southern Sudan under the direction of the Sudan Catholic Bishops’ Conference (SCBC).

Adolfo Nicolás, SJ Visits Egyptian Jesuits

From the 2nd to the 5th of December Father General has visited Egypt. He met the novitiate, the formatores to religious life and the Coptic-Catholic Patriarch, the teachers, the students and the alumni of the Holy Family College. Finally he participated at a Regional day of the Egyptian Jesuits.
