If you are a Green Christian and need some info, support, encouragement, or grounding (pun intended!)—You can have it all at the Ignatian Jesuit Centre in Guelph, Ontario, Canada.  
Since 1913, the Canadian Jesuits have been tilling the soil at The Centre and producing abundant crops for the Jesuit community in the area.  
Today, the center serves as a leader in sustainable agriculture, harmonizing consumer demand for nutritious locally grown food with a commitment to preserving and enhancing the environment.

Where in the World?  Poland!

Fr. General’s Visit to Poland ——
Fr. General was on a seven day visit to Poland from 23rd to 30th September 2012. He was accompanied by Fr. Severin Leitner, the new Assistant for the Central and Eastern Europe.The slide show gives some glimpses of his visit with Jesuits and collaborators in Poland and the memorial services of Father Peter Skarga and Father Jan Beyzym. He also spent few moments with the official media, the Magis youth movement and the Jesuit school children in Poland.

Where in the World…?

With over 17,000 Jesuits worldwide, the Society of Jesus is the largest order of religious men in the Roman Catholic Church.  As Americans, our view of the Church can shrink and with it our notion of the Society of Jesus.  And so we  thought it would be good to highlight some of the  ministries that our brother Jesuits from around the globe are engaged in to give you a better sense of the global missionary zeal of the Jesuits.
